Wayzata Volleyball Sweeps Hopkins
The top-ranked Wayzata volleyball team swept Hopkins 25-9, 25-13, 25-13 for the team’s seventh straight win to start the season.
The Trojans, last year’s Class 3A state champions, used all 15 players on their roster in the win.
Olivia Swenson and Emma Goerger each recorded six kills to lead Wayzata.
Hopkins (0-7) plays at unbeaten Minnetonka on Wednesday while Wayzata (7-0) plays at St. Michael-Albertville Wednesday.
