Wayzata Volleyball Starts Fast
The Wayzata volleyball team graduated a lot of talent from their 2019 state Class AAA championship team.
The Trojans haven’t missed a beat this fall in the late-starting season.
Wayzata is 5-0 entering Tuesday night and ranked number one in the state.
The season looks a lot different this fall due to COVID-19 guidelines, with no weekend tournaments and mostly matches against conference opponents.
It appears unlikely that there will be a state tournament, too.
The Wayzata girls are trying to not focus on what’s missing this season, and instead enjoying what they do have.
