Wayzata Volleyball Overpowers Hopkins
Defending state class AAA volleyball champion Wayzata has some new faces in the lineup this season, but they look pretty strong again.
The Trojans crushed rebuilding Hopkins 25-4, 25-7, 25-18 Monday night at Hopkins.
Former Hopkins standouts Olivia Swenson and Stella Swenson helped lead the way for Wayzata.
Stella Swenson had 24 set assists for the Trojans, while Olivia had eight kills.
Wayzata is now 2-0 this season heading into Wednesday’s match against St. Michael-Albertville.
