Wayzata Legion Takes Down Eastview
Wayzata Legion Post 118 beat Eastview 7-2 in the second round of the state tournament.
The win was Wayzata’s second on the opening day of the tournament.
After three scoreless innings, Wayzata plated five runs in the fourth to grab the lead.
Paul Girard went the distance for victory on the mound.
Wayzata is playing Eden Prairie Friday afternoon in round three.
