Wayzata Legion Baseball Falls to Excelsior
The Wayzata legion baseball team grabbed an early lead but Excelsior rallied past them for an 11-6 win.
Wayzata scored five times in the top of the second, but the lead didn’t last long.
Excelsior, made up of Minnetonka High School players, scored seven in the bottom of the inning.
Both teams got a late start to the American Legion season because they were in the state high school tournament.
