Wayzata, Hopkins prep for girls basketball showdown - CCX Media

After getting blown out twice by Hopkins during the regular season last winter in girls basketball, Wayzata closed the gap in the postseason, leading for a big chunk of the game before falling to the Royals in the Section 6AAAA championship game. This season, Wayzata is 15-0 and ranked No. 2 in Class AAAA, while Hopkins is 14-1 and ranked No. 3 coming into Friday’s game at Wayzata.
