Wayzata Gymnastics Team Wins Section 6AA
The Wayzata gymnastics team won the Section 6AA championship meet Saturday.
The Trojans, in their first year back in the section after several seasons in Section 5AA, scored 145.750 points.
That was good enough to beat second place Hopkins by 4.5 points.
Grace Treanor of Wayzata won the all-around competition with a score of 38.225.
Treanor won all four events in a dominant performance.
The state meet is this Friday and Saturday at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul.
