Wayzata Girls Swimming Hosting Section True Team

The Wayzata girls’ swimming and diving season is in the midst of another great season.

The Trojans, ranked in the top three in the state in Class AA, have just one dual meet loss coming into Thursday’s regular season finale against Edina.

Saturday at Life Time Fitness in Plymouth the team will host the Section 5AA True Team meet with the top finishers and team advancing to the state True Team meet on October 22nd.

The diving portion of this Saturday’s section meet starts at 8:30 a.m. with swimming starting at 1:00pm.

The eight teams in Section 5AA are Champlin Park, Irondale, Maple Grove, Osseo, Park Center, Robbinsdale Cooper, Spring Lake Park, and Wayzata.

The Minnesota State School League-sponsored section and state meets are in November.
