Wayzata Girls Hockey Set for Section Semifinals
The Wayzata girls hockey team is getting set for the Section 6AA semifinals after beating Metro South 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
The Trojans have made strides this season after a difficult 2022-’23 season that included a coaching change during the season.
They face a very tough test in the semifinals. Third seed Wayzata faces second seed Edina Wednesday at 8:00 at Parade Ice Garden.
The Trojans lost both regular season meetings to Edina, 7-1 and 8-0.
