Wayzata Girls Hockey Rallies to Beat Alexandria
Jenna Britz scored two goals in the final six minutes of the game to rally the Wayzata girls’ hockey team to a 3-2 win over Alexandria. Britz’s winning goal came in the game’s final 25 seconds.
‘Shyla Sanders scored for the Trojans in the first period and Wayzata led a 1-0 lead through the first two periods.
The Cardinals scored twice in the first four minutes of the third to take the lead before the two late goals from Britz.
The Trojans (3-7-0) play at Centennial/Spring Lake Park on Thursday.
