Wayzata Girls Hockey Prepared for Section Semis
The Wayzata girls hockey team is prepared for the Section 6AA semifinals.
The Trojans, who are seeded third in the section, meet second seed Blake Wednesday night.
Wayzata lost to Blake 3-2 early in the season.
After a midseason slump, the Trojans closed strong, winning six of their last eight games.
They faced some very strong teams down the stretch and that has them ready for Blake.
Wayzata beat Osseo-Park Center 9-0 in the quarterfinals Saturday.
Blake also was a 9-0 winner in the quarterfinals, beating Hopkins-Park.
