Wayzata Girls Hockey Loses to Edina
The Wayzata girls hockey team lost to second-ranked Edina 7-1 Tuesday.
Mallory Coffin scored the lone goal for the Trojans, tying the game 1-1 early in the second period.
But the Hornets scored the final six goals of the game including four straight goals from Emma Conner. Conner finished the game with five goals and an assist.
Vivian Jungels had four assists for the Hornets.
Wayzata (3-4-1) hosts Visitation Saturday at 5:00 pm in a game you can watch live on CCX1.
