Wayzata Girls Basketball Team Edges STMA
The Wayzata girls basketball team edged St. Michael-Albertville 74-72 Tuesday night.
The third-ranked Trojans beat the seventh-ranked Knights for the second time this season.
Wayzata built a ten point lead in the first half before the Knight rallied to within two at halftime.
STMA went ahead by eight in the second half before the Trojans rallied.
Mackenzie Kramer made nine three-pointers and scored 33 points for STMA.
Annika Steart had 25 points to lead Wayzata.
The Trojans are now 20-3 this season and 7-2 in Lake Conference games.
