Wayzata Girls Basketball Team Edges Eden Prairie
The Wayzata girls basketball team scored a good win Friday, beating Eden Prairie 68-65.
It’s the seventh straight win for the Trojans after their only loss of the season December 18.
The Trojans built a 39-31 lead at halftime.
Eden Prairie battled back to within two in the second half and it remained tight down the stretch.
Wayzata is now 14-1.
Mara Braun scored 22 points to lead Wayzata, with Jenna Johnson adding 19.
Natalie Mazurek scored 18 to lead the Eagles.
