Wayzata Girls Basketball Falls to Minnetonka
Minnetonka’s girls basketball team defeated Wayzata 60-50 Friday, breaking the Trojans three-game winning streak.
Wayzata led 19-17 at halftime but the Skippers outscored the Trojans 43-31 in the second half to win.
Kiani Lockett led the Skippers in scoring with 21 points while Desiree Ware scored 11.
Mara Braun netted 17 points for the Trojans and Abby Krzewinski scored 10.
Wayzata is now 12-4 on the season while Minnetonka improved to 16-1.
The teams play again February 22nd at Minnetonka.
