Wayzata Girls Basketball beats Buffalo
Five Wayzata players scored in double figures as the Trojans’ girls basketball team beat Buffalo 70-46.
Mara Braun led Wayzata with 17 points and Sophie Hawkinson added 14 with Brynn Senden (11 points), Shannon Fornsell (10) and Abby Krzewinski (10).
Wayzata (14-4 overall, 4-3 Lake Conference), ranked seventh in the state in Class 4A, plays # 5 St. Michael-Albertville Tuesday and # 1 Hopkins Friday.
