Wayzata Football Team Powers into Prep Bowl
The Wayzata football team powered past Lakeville South for a 28-14 win to move into the Prep Bowl.
Christian Vasser carried the ball 44 times for 269 yards and three touchdowns for the Trojans.
After the Cougars scored first, Wayzata scored to tie it at 7-7.
The Trojans scored twice in the second quarter to take a 21-7 lead into halftime.
They will make their sixth Prep Bowl appearance.
Wayzata meets Champlin Park in the class AAAAAA title game Friday November 29th.
