Wayzata Football Team Falls Just Short
The Wayzata football team fell just short of knocking off Eden Prairie Friday.
The Eagles held on for a 35-34 win in a thriller in Plymouth.
Eden Prairie scored on a Collin Penn touchdown run with 38 seconds left.
Wayzata got a great kickoff return by Keegan Nickel to set up a late touchdown.
Keaton Heide hit Joe Demro for a five yard touchdown with four seconds to play.
The Trojans two-point conversion attempt failed as the Eagles held on for the win.
