Wayzata Football Team Crushes Skippers
The Wayzata football team crushed the rival Minnetonka Skippers 38-3.
The win keeps the Trojans undefeated with a 6-0 record.
Wayzata scored in each quarter, building a 17-3 halftime lead and putting the game away in the second half.
Christian Vasser rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns.
Tom Schmidt was 8-for-9 passing for 164 yards and two touchdowns.
Jacob Wildermuth had two touchdown receptions for the Trojans.
Wayzata’s defense held Minnetonka to 200 yards and a lone field goal.
Wayzata plays at Shakopee Friday.
