Wayzata Football Shut Out by Shakopee
The Wayzata football team was shut out by Shakopee 35-0 Friday night.
The Sabers scored a pair of touchdowns in the second quarter, then added three more scores in the second half.
Wayzata, the defending state class AAAAAA champion, dropped to 1-4 with the loss.
Shakopee rushed for 383 yards while holding the Trojans to 19 yards rushing.
Trevon Lusian rushed for 197 yards on 25 carries with four touchdowns for the Sabers.
Wayzata wraps up the regular season against Burnsville Wednesday.
