Wayzata Football Overpowers Eden Prairie
The Wayzata football team overpowered Eden Prairie for a 17-7 win to stay unbeaten.
It’s the first win for the Trojans over the Eagles since 2012.
Wayzata’s strong defense held the Eagles to 161 yards from scrimmage.
The Trojans scored once in each of the first two quarters to build a 14-0 halftime lead.
The Eagles scored in the third to pull within 14-7, but Wayzata’s defense held from there and they added a field goal to seal it.
