Wayzata Football Edged 15-14 by STMA
The Wayzata football team lost a close game in Week 3, edged 15-14 by St. Michael-Albertville.
The Trojans scored on a second quarter quarterback run by Thor Soukup and a late fourth quarter Soukup to Jaxon Brown touchdown pass to pull within a point.
The Trojans then tried for a two-point conversion for the lead and probable win, but Soukup’s pass was broken up by Beckett Young.
Braylon Bohm led the Knights (1-2) with 110 rushing yards.
The Trojans (0-3) play at Moorhead Friday.
