Wayzata Edges Stillwater in Girls Basketball
Annika Stewart made two free throws in the final seconds to lift the Wayzata girls basketball team to a 67-66 win over Stillwater.
Jenna Johnson missed a shot in close but Stewart grabbed an offensive rebound before getting fouled.
Johnson and Stewart each scored 23 points for the Trojans (12-1). Liza Karlen scored 20 points for the Ponies.
Wayzata opens Lake Conference play Tuesday night at Buffalo.
