Wayzata Duo Beats Maple Grove Team in State Doubles Third Place Match
Wayzata’s team of Tasha Piyabongkarn and Greta Holmes beat Summer Ode and Maddie Larsen of Maple Grove 7-5, 6-2 in the third place match of the class AA doubles competition at the state girls tennis tournament.
In class A, Breck’s Isabelle Einess continued her dominant run through the tournament, beating Leah Maddock of Osakis 6-0, 6-0 to win the singles title.
Einess didn’t lose a single game during the tournament.
