Wayzata Cross Country Teams Advance
The Wayzata cross country teams both advanced to the state meet with wins at the Section 6AA meet.
The Trojans took first in the boys meet with 54 points, seven points ahead of Edina.
Andrew Brandt of Wayzata was second individually behind Max Manley of Edina.
The top-ranked Wayzata girls took three of the top seven places and won easily.
Emma Atkinson of the Trojans was second behind Emily Covert of Minneapolis Washburn.
