Wayzata Boys Win Team Title at Lake Conference CC
Depth paid off for the Wayzata boys cross country team as they captured the team title at the Lake Conference championship meet.
The Trojans didn’t have anyone place higher than sixth, but they had five of the top 13 finishers.
On the girls side, Minnetonka edged Edina by one point for the team title, with Wayzata placing third.
Nick Gilles of Minnetonka was the boys individual champion in a time of 15:16.3.
Ali Weimer of St. Michael-Albertville won the girls title in a time of 17:17.9.
Sydney Drevlow of Hopkins placed second in the girls race.
Wayzata’s Alex Foss (6th) was the top local boys finisher.
