Wayzata Boys Tennis Repeats as Class AA Champion
The Wayzata boys tennis team won a second straight class AA team title with a 5-2 win over Rochester Mayo in the championship match.
The Trojans swept the doubles matches, all in straight sets, and split the four singles matches with the Spartans.
That’s after the Trojans pulled out a 4-3 win over Mahtomedi in the semifinals.
It’s the sixth state title in program history for Wayzata.
