Wayzata Boys Tennis Falls to Orono in Section 5AA Final
The Wayzata boys tennis team fell to Orono 4-3 in an epic Section 5AA final match.
It’s the first loss of the season for Wayzata; Orono’s only loss came to Wayzata in the regular season.
The teams split the four singles matches, with two of them requiring three sets.
Orono’s Sam Skanse rallied after losing the first set to Jayho Hong to win a key match at number two singles.
Orono won at first and third doubles to help punch their ticket to the state tournament.
