Wayzata Boys Swimming and Diving Places Fourth at State Class AA Meet
The Wayzata boys swimming and diving team finished its season with a fourth-place finish at the State class AA meet.
Nathan Carr finished second in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 48.65 seconds. Carr also placed third in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 49.58 seconds.
Taking fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.35 seconds was Wayzata senior Gray Sisco.
The Wayzata 400-yard freestyle relay team of Sisco, Carr, Max Carter, and Jerry Lou placed second overall with a time of 3:07.43.
Hopkins’ Joseph Rinaldi took eleventh in diving, scoring a total of 378.20. The Trojans scored 188 team points; Edina took first with a score of 289.
