Wayzata Boys Lacrosse Crushes Rogers in Section 5 Semifinals
The Wayzata boys lacrosse team took control from the opening minutes on the way to a 16-1 win over Rogers in the Section 5 semifinals.
The Trojans built a 4-0 lead after one quarter and were up 9-1 at the half on the way to the win.
Bennett Brown and Ryder Alstead had four goals each for Wayzata, with Cullen Britz scoring three goals and four assists and Cam Johnson a goal and six assists.
Wayzata is now 14-1 heading into their section final meeting with top seed Benilde-St. Margaret’s Wednesday.
