Wayzata Boys Hockey Set for CCX Turkey Trot Tournament
The puck drops for the 2024-’25 high school boys hockey season this weekend as the Wayzata boys host the CCX Turkey Trot tournament Friday and Saturday at Plymouth Ice Center.
Maple Grove, Edina, and Moorhead join the Trojans for the high-powered four-team event.
Though it’s considered a Thanksgiving tournament, the way the calendar falls this year means Turkey Trot takes place prior to turkey day instead of immediately after.
Wayzata was 23-3-2 last season, but they’ll have to replace a lot of that strong group lost to graduation.
Games are at 5:00 and 7:15 Friday and Saturday at PIC.
