Wayzata Boys Hockey Loses 4-3 to Rogers
After winning their first two games at the Tradition in the Park holiday tournament, the Wayzata boys hockey team lost 4-3 to Rogers in round three.
The Royals broke a 3-3 tie with a late power play goal in the back and forth game.
The teams traded goals throughout; it was 1-1 after one period and 2-2 after two periods.
Hogan Sinjem had two goals and two assists to lead the Royals to the win.
Wayzata and rogers each ended up 2-1 in the round-robin tournament at St. Louis Park Rec Center.
Host Benilde-St. Margaret’s won all three of its games.
