Wayzata Boys Hockey Falls to Edina in OT
The Wayzata boys hockey team fell to Edina 5-4 in overtime in the Section 6AA quarterfinals.
The Hornets jumped out to 2-0 lead in the first period.
Wayzata scored three times in the second period, and the teams were tied at 3-3 after two.
Jake Schneider scored to give Wayzata its first lead in the third, but Jimmy Clark answered for the Hornets.
In overtime Clark scored his third goal of the game to send Edina into the semifinals.
