Wayzata Boys Hockey Falls to Edina at Turkey Trot
The Wayzata boys hockey team fell to Edina 3-2 in overtime in the third place game at the CCX Media Turkey Trot tournament.
The host Trojans lost to Moorhead 4-1 in the semifinals.
Jack Kimlinger and Dylan Lewis scored in the first period to give Wayzata 2-1 lead.
Grant Morton scored early in the third period to tie the game for the Hornets.
Emmett Wurst scored the game-winner in overtime for defending state champion Edina.
