Wayzata Boys Hockey Blanks Lakeville South
The Wayzata boys hockey team shut out Lakeville South 5-0 in their opening game of the Premier Holiday Classic tournament.
Senior goalie Evan Turek kept it a scoreless game in the first period with some great saves. Scoring in the second period for the Trojans was Brooks Gengler and Eli Molde.
Gengler scored again in the third, along with Jake Mattson and Brittan Alstead. Wayzata improves to 9-0-1 on the year. They’ll face Rogers and Minnetonka to close out the Premier Holiday Classic tournament.
