John Mattson scored 2:21 into overtime to give the Wayzata boys hockey team a 2-1 win over Edina Thursday night.

The game then remained scoreless until late in the third period when Jackson Borst netted a goal on a rebound for the Hornets.
Both goaltenders were outstanding. Wayzata’s Will Ingemann saved 37 shots while Edina’s Robbie Clarkowski made 39 saves.
