Wayzata Boys & Girls Cross Country Teams Eye State Title Repeats
The Wayzata boys and girls cross country teams both won Class AAA state championships in 2022.
The task at hand now for both Trojans teams is to win state again in 2023.
The Trojans boys return six of their top seven runners from last fall and they also won the 2021 Class AAA state championship.
The Wayzata girls will need to replace their top three runners from a season ago, but they like the young talent they have coming up in the program.
Both teams are scheduled to open the season August 31st with a meet at Elm Creek Park Reserve.
