Wayzata Boys Basketball Shoots for State Title
The Wayzata boys basketball team is two wins away from winning the first state title since 1959.
The Trojans have had a week off since their quarterfinal round win over Duluth East.
Next up is the state tournament Class AAAA semifinals and a match-up against Shakopee. The Sabers are 17-5 on the season; The Trojans’ record is 17-2.
Wayzata has not lost since February 4th at Minnehaha Academy and averages over 78 points per game.
Wayzata and Shakopee are scheduled to tip off at approximately 8:00 Thursday night at the Target Center, following the Maple Grove vs. Cretin-Derham Hall semifinal.
