Wayzata Boys Basketball Routs Edina in 6AAAA Semifinal
The Wayzata boys basketball team raced out to a 51-23 halftime lead on the way to a 91-62 win over Edina in the Section 6AAAA semifinals Tuesday.
Christian Wiggins scored 25 points, Nolen Anderson 14 and Xavy Ivey 13 to lead the way.
The Trojans (24-3) are the top seed in the section and host Hopkins (21-7) in the section final Friday night.
Wayzata beat Hopkins twice during the regular season.
