Wayzata Boys Basketball Pulls Away Late for Win at Champlin Park
The Wayzata boys basketball team outscored Champlin Park 26-7 over the final 11 minutes in a 58-39 win Tuesday night.
Carter Bjerke led the Trojans in scoring with 18 points. Ayo Taki led the Rebels with 11 points.
Champlin Park led 17-10 in the first half before Wayzata rallied to take a 25-24 halftime lead.
The Trojans (4-2) play in the Capital City Classic in St. Paul next week while Champlin Park (0-3) plays in the Granite City Classic in the St. Cloud area.
