Wayzata Boys Basketball Overpowers STMA
The Wayzata boys basketball team overpowered St. Michael-Albertville for an 80-41 win Tuesday.
The Trojans made eight three-pointers in the first half and added nine more in the second half on the way to the win.
Wayzata had five players in double figures in scoring in a balanced effort.
Sophomore Jackson McAndrew came off the bench to hit five threes and score 15 points.
Drew Berkland had 14, Hayden Tibbits and Ryan Harvey 13 each, and Jake Schmitt 11 for the Trojans.
Wayzata is now 15-4 and hosts rival Hopkins Friday night.
