Wayzata Boys Basketball Eyes First-Ever Repeat State Title
The list of accomplishments in the last decade is long for the Wayzata boys basketball program.
Eight Section 6AAAA titles. Five straight state championship game appearances. Three gold balls.
However, the Trojans have never won consecutive state titles. That’s what Wayzata is hoping to accomplishment by the end of next week.
An experienced roster led by seniors Christian Wiggins, Nolen Anderson, and Isaac Olmstead will lead the Trojans at state.
Wayzata earned the number two seed in the Class AAAA state tournament will face Apple Valley on Tuesday, March 24th at 2:00 PM.
