Wayzata Boys Basketball Cruises Past Breck
The Wayzata boys basketball team took a couple of early losses but they are rolling now.
The Trojans thumped defending state class AA champion Breck 87-54 Thursday night.
The Trojans built a double digit lead early in the contest and went up 41-25 at the half on the way to the win.
Christian Wiggins scored 22 points to lead the Trojans, with Isaac Olmstead adding 17.
Miles Newton had 16 points to lead Breck.
It’s Wayzata’s fourth straight win and they improved to 5-2 overall.
Breck fell to 1-4 against a loaded early schedule.
