Wayzata Baseball Team Eliminates Armstrong
The Wayzata baseball team eliminated Armstrong with a 4-2 victory in the Section 6AAAA tournament.
Armstrong took a 2-0 lead on a Bjorn Jensen double in the third inning.
The Trojans battled back to tie the game.
In the sixth, Turner McIntosh’s double scored the go ahead runs as the Trojans won it.
Wayzata meets Hopkins in the section final Friday.
Hopkins is unbeaten in the tournament and needs one win to advance to state.
Wayzata needs to sweep a doubleheader to take the section title.
