Wayzata Baseball Prepares for Strong Season
The Wayzata baseball team is coming off an 18-win season in which they won the Lake Conference title and finished second in Section 6AAAA. While they did graduate some key players from that team, the Trojans do have a good group back as they prepare for the 2024 season.
Righthanded pitcher Riley Leatherman and lefty pitcher/1st baseman Brady Lash lead a strong returning group that should have a solid pitching staff.
Pitcher/outfielders Viet Nguyen and Gaard Swenson and catcher Michael Reem are other key returning players.
The Trojans are scheduled to open the season April 10th against St. Michael-Albertville.
