Wayzata Baseball Loses to St. Michael-Albertville
The third-ranked Wayzata baseball team lost 2-0 to second-ranked St. Michael-Albertville in a match-up of the top two teams in the Lake Conference and two of the best in Class 4A.
Knights’ pitcher Max Sutter threw a complete game, striking out 10.
The Knights (10-1) scored both of their runs in the third inning.
The Trojans (9-3) managed six hits in the game, all singles but were unable to score against Sutter who did not walk a batter.
Wayzata also lost to Armstrong 9-8 on Saturday.
