Wayzata Baseball Edges Forest Lake
The Wayzata baseball team edged Forest Lake in a thriller, winning 6-5.
The Trojans started the game in style when Cullen Stamp hit a homerun leading off the bottom of the first.
The teams each scored one run in each of the first three innings.
Forest Lake took a 5-4 lead in the top of the sixth inning.
Wayzata saved its best for last.
Brennan Albert doubled in a run in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game.
Albert stole third and bounced up from his slide to score the winning run on an errant throw.
