Wayzata Baseball Blanks St. Michael-Albertville In Season Opener
The Wayzata baseball team started their season with a 7-0 win over St. Michael-Albertville at home Wednesday.
The Trojans got a combined shutout win on the mound from Riley Leatherman (2.2 IP, 3 K’s, 0 hits), Brady Lash (3.1 IP, 7 K’s, 3 hits), and Charlie Seel (1.0 IP, 1 K’s, 0 hits).
Sam Mohs went 3 for 4 for the Trojans at the plate with two singles and a double.
Wayzata (1-0) will play at Buffalo (0-1) on Friday.
