Unbeaten Wayzata Beats Maple Grove in Girls Basketball
Jenna Johnson scored 21 points and Mara Braun added 17 as the Wayzata girls basketball team beat Maple Grove 63-44 Tuesday. Leading by five points at halftime, Wayzata pulled away late in the second half for the win.
The Trojans (5-0) are ranked second in class AAAA. Abby Schulte scored 21 points for the Crimson (1-2) who are ranked 10th in class AAAA.
