Twin Stars Soccer Ties Minneapolis
The Twin Stars soccer team based in the Brooklyn Park/Maple Grove area tied Minneapolis 2-2 Wednesday.
The teams are in the National Premier Soccer League’s North Conference of the Midwest Region.
The game was played at Osseo High School’s John Hansen Stadium at Carl Tonn Field.
Max Steigwardt scored both goals for Minneapolis.
David Kromah netted the Twin Stars’ first goal and Kareem Darbaki tied the game on a penalty kick.
